We are representatives of the University of Pittsburgh’s Physician Scientist Training Program (PSTP), a unique 5-year MD-Research program designed to prepare students for careers as physician-scientists. For more information about the program, you can visit our website at https://www.pstp.pitt.edu.

We have been working with the UCLA Career Center and would like to personally invite your members to a scheduled informational presentation on Friday, October 16th at 12pm PT.

We have attached a document with the necessary information students need in order to attend our presentation. If you could copy/paste the information into an email and advertise a PSTP presentation to your organization email list, it would be greatly appreciated.

My name is Rick Zepeda, Volunteer Services Coordinator for Venice Family Clinic, a UCLA Affiliate.

To summarize, Venice Family Clinic provides a wide range of important medical and community centered programs for over 28,000 patients annually who are in need. You can find out more information about Venice Family Clinic here. We also happen to be launching our upcoming week of action to celebrate our 50 year Anniversary more info here!

Through several grants, we are able to provide food boxes which include produce and other grocery items every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays to our communities on the Westside of LA. I was wondering if any of your community partners and members would be interested in sharing or participating in this ongoing volunteer opportunity?
