My name is Abdi Abdullahi and I am a third year medical student at UCSF School of Medicine. I am one of the coordinators of Bridging Admissions, a volunteer organization composed of medical students from across the nation. I'm reaching out to you about a mentorship program that we are coordinating for URM and first generation applicants. This is our third cycle for our mentorship program, and we have worked with close to 200 students thus far. We match students with a medical student who providers mentorship throughout the application cycle, ranging from personal statement feedback to interview preparations. If you know of any students who may benefit from our program, please have them sign up at our website: http://bridgingadmissions.com/mentorship-program/ Do you have underrepresented students that are looking to earn a PhD in biomedical science and just aren’t quite ready to go to graduate school or need a little bit more experience/time to be truly competitive for a top tier graduate program? If so, please let them know about our Post-baccalaureate Research Education Program at The Ohio State University, DISCOVERY PREP.
